What does the Bible say about authority?
I have authority and power in my life here on earth because I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and I love His name.
And have made us kings and priests for our God, and we will rule on earth.
You have made him ruler of the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.
Verily, verily, I say to you that whoever believes in me will do the works that I do and will do greater works than these because I go to my father.
For the fullness of the Godhead dwells in him; and you are brought to fullness in him who is the head of all rule and violence.
And God said: Let us make men in our image, like us; they shall rule over the fish in the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over the whole earth, also over all worms that creep on the earth! And God created man in his image, in God's image he created him; as man and woman he created them. And God blessed them; and God said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it; and rules over the fish in the sea and over the birds of the sky and over all living things that move on earth!
But Jesus answered and said to them: Truly, I say to you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what happened to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain: rise and throw into the sea !, this is how it will happen. And everything you ask for in prayer, you will receive!
For if death came to power through the transgression of the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of justice rule in life through the one, Jesus Christ!
And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying: Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the reign of his Christ have come! For the accuser of our brothers, who accused them of our God day and night, was brought down. And they overcame him for the blood of the Lamb and for the word of their testimony and have not loved their lives to the point of death!
For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his strength. Put on all of God's armor so you can stand up to the devil's crafty tricks; for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this world time, against the spiritual powers of malice in the heavenly regions. Therefore, take all of God's armor so that you can resist the bad day and, after you have done everything well, assert yourself. So it is now certain that your loins are girded with truth, and done with the breastplate of justice, and your feet are booted with the willingness to testify to the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith with which you can wipe out all the fiery arrows of evil, and also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God, by praying with all prayer and supplication at all times in the spirit, and for this purpose watch with all perseverance and intercession for all saints.
In the name of Jesus, I take authority over all evil forces that somehow affect my mind, mind or body. I say that through the blood of the Lamb and the strength of my testimony, they are knocked down and tied away from me.
In the authority of the name of Jesus, I now let the righteousness of God and his serving spirits rule in all areas of my life.
When he had thus disarmed the authorities and powers, he publicly pilloried them and triumphed over them in the same.
Behold, I give you the authority to step on snakes and scorpions, and over all the enemy's power; and nothing will harm you in any way.
Because the weapons of our struggle are not carnal, but powerful by God to destroy fortresses, so that we destroy reasoning and every height that rises against the knowledge of God ...
2 Corinthians 10,4-5a
You will set foot on the lion and the otter, you will trample on the cub and the dragon.
No weapon that is forged against you should succeed; and all tongues that rise up against you in court shall be found guilty. That is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness, which I have granted them, says the Lord.
So now submit to God! Resist the devil, he will flee from you.
